Gym times allow for additional training before and after class however, you must decide which Nights you wish to train with and only attend the Class on your allocated nights.
Age Requirements – Open to Males & Females 12 years and over.
What do I need - All training equipment is provided for new Students. After your inital few lessons you will need to outfit yourself with gloves, handwraps, mouth guard and groin guard. We have a shop selling all of these items or alternatlively you can purchase your own from else where. You can wear any gym clothing you feel comfortable in to begin, as most students eventually wear kickboxing shorts and our Ironfist grading singlets. The gym is fully carpeted but you are welcome to wear shoes if you wish. You must wear groin and mouthguards if you want to do light sparring. Sparring is done very controlled, there is no head contact for our new beginners and hard sparring is not tolerated in our general class. There is plenty of opportunity to spar our advanced members and fighters at other times.
Class Details - The Class covers all aspects of Muay Thai training and we have a structured grading system in place from beginner to advanced levels. Students generally are partnered with someone and most training is done using pads whether for boxing, kicking, knees or elbows. Grappling and light sparring is also covered in class. As there is a wide variety of content to cover classes vary greatly and different training methods are used to create variety.
